Review IFAT ENTSORGA 2010: Ultrasonics stands out as particularly eco-friendly technology
The world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials IFAT ENTSORGA once again welcomed trade visitors and interested persons from all over the world from 13 to 17 September in Munich. Among more than 2,700 exhibitors from 49 nations who presented various environmental technologies and innovations, SONOTRONIC and its partner Ultrawaves were again represented as the leading manufacturer of innovative and environmentally-friendly ultrasonic systems.
IFAT 2010
In cooperation with our partner company Ultrawaves Wasser und Umwelttechnologien GmbH, based in Hamburg, we informed an international technical audience about the most recent innovations in environmental engineering. The use of ultrasound for the purposes of bio solid treatment in waste water and biogas plants, i.e. the ultrasonic disintegration, was of special interest here. Additionally, more and more visitors showed interest in the opportunities ultrasonics offers for the disinfection of process and even drinking water.
In order to explain the principle and mode of operation of our multi-award winning technologies in greater detail, our fair team illustrated the action of ultrasound in liquid media by way of practical demonstrations using our glazed exhibition systems. This captivated especially the “ultrasound newcomers” amongst the visitors so that literally “making waves” frequently resulted in numerous informative conversations at our booth. In addition, we were able to maintain and broaden the good contact with our long-time customers and partners by organising several meetings which made IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 a complete success for both our companies.
We look forward to welcoming you again at the next IFAT ENTSORGA (7 to 11 May 2012) with tried and tested technologies and products as well the latest developments.
