Up to six material runs can be inspected in parallel and independently of each other. Cameras and lasers monitor the passage of the material and issue precise, reproducible results.

The lasers detect protruding filament breakages, after which fluff and filaments are singed. Mispicks, knots, knops, dye and dirt stains as well as other flaws are detected by image processing, are displayed on the monitor at the control panel and are brought to a halt at a fixed position. The operator can remove, mark or even cut them out and rejoin them.

At the outlet, the inspected material can either be laid out in the direction of running or wound.
