Review of the Fakuma ’11 trade fair: ultrasonic plastics processing and ultrasonic punching tools for many applications
At this year’s Fakuma, from 18th to 22nd October 2011, we again unveiled an array of new innovations from SONOTRONIC. Whilst visitors from the automotive sector were particularly interested in our new ultrasonic punching concept, the new cantilevered ultrasonic roll seam module attracted a lot of attention amongst visitors from the packaging and textile industries.
Review of Techtextil ’11: Versatile ultrasonic components
At this year’s Techtextil in Frankfurt am Main from 24. to 26. May 2011, SONOTRONIC presented itself as a developer and manufacturer of ultrasonic components and standard machines, widely used in the textile industry. The ultrasonic welding, cutting, cut & seal, as well as ultrasonic thermofixing, washing and laminating technologies, enticed a large number of national and international visitors to our stand. As a result of Texprocess, which was taking place at the same time, Techtextil exceeded all expectations and there was a lively exchange of information.
Review of Interpack 2011: Ultrasound on the up – demand expanding
At the leading packaging fair, Interpack, in Düsseldorf from 12. to 18. May 2011, SONOTRONIC also recorded significant success. Apart from the already well-known 20, 30 and 35 kHz intermittent and continuous sealing systems, the ultrasonic specialist exhibited, for the first time, the new module for head seams, the KSE 250-100. The module allows a weld seam length of 250 mm and can be optionally fitted with 35 or 30 kHz ultrasonic tools.
Review Freshconex 2011: Unique selling point based on experience for CFS in VFFS machines with SONOTRONIC ultrasonic sealing system
This year’s Freshconex was held in Berlin from 9th – 11th February 2011. In the convenience food sector, the trade fair represents a benchmark in salad bag packaging on VFFS-machines, using ultrasonic sealing systems. SONOTRONIC was again represented at the stand of its development partner, CFS Weert.
Review K 2010: Sustainable plastics processing with ultrasound
After two K-free years the time had come again: on 27th October 2010 the International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber opened its doors again for a trade gathering, the like of which is unmatched anywhere in the world. One of the principal themes of this year’s K was ‘Sustainability in the processing of plastics’. On this subject SONOTRONIC presented ‘Sustainable plastics processing’ in Hall 11 to an interested audience from the automotive, packaging and textile industries under the catch words, GREEN SONICS.
Review FachPack 2010: A complete success – progress through sustained packaging solutions
This year’s FachPack closed its doors at the Nuremberg Trade Fair Centre on 30th September 2010 having attracted 35,360 visitors from around the world and thus records improvements in all important respects at the start of its fourth decade. The good mood and creative atmosphere at FachPack 2010 was also apparent from the response and positive mood at SONOTRONIC’s stand.
Review IFAT ENTSORGA 2010: Ultrasonics stands out as particularly eco-friendly technology
The world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials IFAT ENTSORGA once again welcomed trade visitors and interested persons from all over the world from 13 to 17 September in Munich. Among more than 2,700 exhibitors from 49 nations who presented various environmental technologies and innovations, SONOTRONIC and its partner Ultrawaves were again represented as the leading manufacturer of innovative and environmentally-friendly ultrasonic systems.
Review Freshconex '10: Tubular bag machine for packing salad by ultrasound impresses fair visitors
Freshconex was held from 3rd to 5th February 2010 in Berlin. This event is regarded as the international trade fair for fresh fruit and vegetable convenience food in Europe. With respect to ready-prepared salad products, the SX 400 Smart Packer vertical tubular bag machine was again the centre of interest for visitors. The innovative machine was presented at the stand of our development partner, CFS Weert B.V., manufacturer of vertical tubular bag machines. SONOTRONIC was also in attendance as guest exhibitor to demonstrate the ultrasonic sealing system built into the SX 400 Smart Packer.
DWA-M 302 leaflet on acknowledged ultrasonic sewage sludge disintegration
Since 2002 SONOTRONIC and its Hamburg partner, ULTRAWAVES, has been manufacturing and distributing innovative machines for disintegrating sewage sludge by ultrasound. It has been doing pioneering work in this field.
Review of the Techtextil '09: welding, cutting, punching, washing and thermofixing by ultrasound
Our trade fair year 2009 started very well with Techtextil in Frankfurt. Large numbers of visitors from home and abroad came to see us at our stand to learn about our innovative, ultrasound solutions for the textile industry. This year, we concentrated, in particular, on our roll seam applications, our standard welding, cutting and punching machine programmes, plus our new ultrasonic washing module.
Review of the IFAT’08: Ultrasound in environmental technology
At IFAT, the world’s most important fair for environmental technologies and services, SONOTRONIC was again present this year as a leading manufacturer of innovative ultrasonic systems for treating bio solids, for example, in digesters and waste water treatment plants.
Review of the interpack '08: Great interest in innovative ultrasonic technologies
Under the slogan “Ultrasonic Packaging” we presented innovative ultrasonic technologies for the packaging industry at this year’s interpack. In addition to informative talks, the international trade audience expected practical demonstrations of various applications at our stand.
Ultrasonic thermofixing machine awarded the Industry Prize 2008
In the “Mechanical Engineering” category the ultrasonic thermofixing machine from SONOTRONIC received an award under the SME Initiative of the Industry Prize of 2008 for an innovative product of special interest.
Review of the Innovation Award
An informative discussion took place at SONOTRONIC on Monday, 14.01.2008, to review the awarding of the Innovation Prize. Various representatives from business, state politics, the local authority and our company discussed the potential of the award-winning utlrasonic system in environmental technology.
Innovation Award of Baden-Württemberg – Dr.-Rudolf-Eberle-Prize, awarded to SONOTRONIC in 2007
On 27th of November SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH from Karlsbad-Ittersbach was awarded the "Innovation award of the Land Baden-Württemberg – Dr.-Rudolf-Eberle-Prize 2007 ". At the awards ceremony, Ernst Pfister, the minister of economic affairs, underlined that "Innovations are the breeding ground for a prospering economy. This contest proves that most of the innovative stimulus come from medium-sized companies“.
Review of the trade fair K'07: Movement in the punching technology with flexible solutions
The flexible production was the focus of SONOTRONIC at this K trade fair. Latest robotic technology in conjunction with highly developed ultrasonic devices attracted numerous national and international visitors to the booth.
Review of the ITMA’07 trade fair: An overwhelming interest in new technologies for textile processing
A huge number of national and international visitors to ITMA 07 seized the opportunity to learn about the new technologies exhibited at the SONOTRONIC stand, which had already been announced in the press, such as ultrasonic two-face dyeing and thermofixing.
Donation of an handheld ultrasonic welding gun to the Karlsruhe Carl-Benz vocational school
In future pupils will be able to aim ultrasonic oscillations in order to join plastic materials. Our donation is intended to help the mechanical engineering, process engineering and mechatronics students to become confident with ultrasonic technology.
